A study conducted by BIO SERAE suggests that FrutoLogic® can exert a vasodilation on blood vessel. This vasodilating effect is due to the production of NO by NO-synthase located in the endothelium cells. FrutoLogic® could then contribute to better irrigate muscular tissue.

Moreover, NO of endothelial origin is known to be a major protective factor in the cardiovascular system.

	FrutoLogic® acts in synergy with L-Arginine to increase the production of endothelium NO (= NO Enhancer)
	By enhancing NO production, FrutoLogic® has a vasodilating effect, contributing thus to improve muscle blood supply.
	Vasodilating effect of FrutoLogic® is comparable to the one observed with Leucocyanidol (used in the pharmaceutical industry for its vasodilating properties)

BIO SERAE conducted in vivo tests to confirm the potential of FrutoLogic® to reduce the harmful effect of peroxinitrites in stressful situation like sustained and repeated physical activity. In the experiment, two groups of hamsters were maintained under oxidative stress conditions and were fed with standardized meal or supplemented meal with FrutoLogic®.

	Plasmatic concentrations in nitrotyrosin (degradation products from oxidative stress) are significantly lower in the Frutologic® group of hamsters by comparison with the placebo group.
	FrutoLogic® could prevent the development of peroxinitrites, a harmful free radical (nitrotyrosin being a specific marker of peroxinitrites).
	FrutoLogic® has an effect in reducing oxidative stress generated by the interaction between NO and super oxides radicals.
