• In vitro study :

• Improvement of chondrocytes protection under inflammatory stress conditions:
  Osteol™ associated with regular D-Glucosamine + Chondroitin mix, allows to increase chondrocytes protection by 25 to 95%.
• Collagenase inhibition :
  Osteol™ helps to reduce cartilage degeneration thanks to its capacity to inhibit MMPs (degradation enzymes).
• Gene expression and joint inflammation process :
  Under pro-inflammatory conditions, combining Osteol™ + D-glucosamine + Chondroitin induces :

• Clinical study :

• Study conducted on 57 volunteers, men and women of 50 years and over, suffering from mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee. The 3 month long study was monocentric, randomized, placebo-controlled and in parallel double blind format.
