What is VinOgrapeŽ?

VinOgrapeŽ is a natural red grape extract concentrated in powerful antioxidant compounds called anthocyanins and oligomeric procyanidins (OPC). VinOgrapeŽ is produced using a special wine making process (short maceration time) which allows to obtain a product with the highest level of total red wine polyphenols.

What is the role of anthocyanins in VinOgrape® ?

Anthocyanins are powerful antioxidants, extracted exclusively from red grape skins (99%).

They can help to dilate blood vessels which may help lowering the risk of heart disease. They also help to prevent peroxidation of cell membranes and help to control capillary permeability.

What is the role of OPC in VinOgrape® ?

Oligomeric procyanidins (OPC) are extracted from red grape seeds and skin. Studies showed that they are powerful antioxidants. Indeed, they can :

• help to prevent free radical formation,
• help to promote cardiovascular health
• help to regulate blood platelets function

They possess a strong affinity to bind with collagen. They also strengthen and rebuild elastin in the body and can help to maintain skin elasticity.

Why should I use VinOgrape® ?

A functional food or a dietary supplement containing VinOgrape® has the potential to* :

• Protect LDL from oxidation (fig 1)
• Be a potent free radical scavenger
• Help to control capillary permeability

How much VinOgrape® should I take?

While the European legislation has not established a recommended dosage for grape extract, we compare VinOgrape® (300 mg) to a glass of a red wine rich in total grape polyphenols.
